-
Which delivery service option is best for my restaurant?
Every restaurant has different needs when it comes to food delivery. That’s why we offer a variety of different delivery service options to fit your unique needs.
- Grubhub Delivery is great for restaurants that don’t have their own delivery drivers.
- Self-delivery is perfect for restaurants that already have their own delivery drivers on staff.
- Supplemental Delivery helps restaurants that already have their own delivery drivers but want to expand their delivery reach to more diners in geographic areas beyond their current delivery boundaries.
-
Can we use our own restaurant delivery drivers with Grubhub?
Yes, you can use your own delivery fleet to fulfill orders placed at your business by customers using the Grubhub website and mobile app. To do so, you will need to select self-delivery when you sign up with Grubhub. You can also control and modify delivery boundaries and fees from your restaurant portal.
-
How much does Grubhub charge restaurants for its food delivery service?
Restaurants pay a 10% delivery fee on all orders fulfilled by Grubhub Delivery drivers. This fee is used to cover delivery costs—including driver pay and performing background checks—that we take on on behalf of the restaurant.
-
Why doesn’t the Grubhub Delivery option appear when I sign up?
If Grubhub Delivery is available in your area, you will see the service option during the sign-up process. If delivery becomes available in an area where it previously wasn’t, Grubhub will reach out to you.
