Why use restaurant social media templates?
Developing a consistent and appealing social media presence sparks brand recognition, boosts diner engagement, and increases orders. The proof is in the pudding: 50% of diners claim that social media influences their restaurant choices. Your restaurant can capture these customers by creating social media profiles that inspire customers to taste your menu.
In fact, 82% of restaurants in the U.S. use social media as part of their marketing strategy. Using social media templates makes establishing an engaging social media account easier–all you need to do is make a few adjustments to reflect your brand. Invest in your business by creating a social media presence as mouth watering as your cuisine.
How to customize Grubhub’s templates:
Ready to take your social media profile to the next level? Follow these steps to get started:
1. Download the Canva template
Start by creating a free Canva account to access the templates. Once you have a Canva account, click on the template you want to download. Then, click “edit template” to copy the template to your personal Canva profile.
2. Add your own food photography
Great food photography can inspire a curious social media scroller to place an order. Pick out the most delectable photos of the dishes you want to feature. Don’t have high quality photos of your menu? Restaurants that are partnered with Grubhub can schedule a free professional menu photoshoot. Once you’ve selected your photos, drag the images from your device to the “uploads” section on the left hand Canva menu. You can then replace the stock images by dragging and dropping your photos onto the template. Click “edit photo” on the top menu to make any adjustments.
3. Customize colors
Using your brand’s signature colors across your social posts will make your online presence cohesive. Make sure you have an eye-catching logo, and select colors that compliment your restaurant’s theme.
You can change the colors of these Canva templates to match your brand’s style and aesthetic. To change the color of an element, click on the element and pick a new color on the top navigation bar. You can see each individual element in the design by clicking on the “layers” tab on the top navigation bar.
4. Find the right font
Your business’ branding includes typography–and your social media posts should mimic the look and feel of your brick and mortar location.
To change the font, click on the text and navigate to the left hand menu. Here, you can explore what font matches best with your brand. Click “change all” to apply font changes across your design.
5. Add your logo
Make your posts recognizable by adding your own logo to the templates. Drag and drop your logo into “uploads” on the left hand menu. You can then resize and place your logo anywhere on the design.
6. Perfect the final touches
After you customize these templates to reflect your brand, you’re ready to download and post. Click the “share” button on the top right of the screen to save the image to your device. Then, upload your post to your Facebook and Instagram accounts with an engaging caption that encourages diners to check your restaurant out.
Add hashtags like #eatlocal #grubhubpartner #localrestaurant or #fooddelivery in your caption to connect with a wider audience. Tag @grubhubforrestaurants on Instagram or Facebook for a chance to be featured on Grubhub’s account.
