Here’s how to enter the Slam Dunk Social Media Challenge:
- Post one of our free social media assets (download below) to your restaurant’s Facebook or Instagram page.
- To be considered as entry, post the image with the hashtag #GrubhubSlamDunk and follow @grubhubforrestaurants on Instagram or like Grubhub for Restaurants on Facebook.
- Winners will be announced on 4/15.

Option 1: Download and post
Let customers know that you are offering takeout and delivery with Grubhub during tournament season with these social media posts. Use the caption to specify your hours, menu, and deals. Encourage diners to order now by including your Grubhub link in the caption or in your Instagram bio. Don’t forget to post with #GrubhubSlamDunk to enter the social media challenge.

Option 2: Customize templates
Do you have someone on your team who likes to get a little creative? Customize these templates to showcase your partnership with Grubhub while staying cohesive with your brand. Pick from one of our three Canva designs and add your own food photography and colors. These templates are easy to update with your own photos and branding so your social feed continues to tell your restaurant’s unique store.

What’s the prize?
Grubhub will select five restaurants at random that will be awarded $500 in Grubhub credit. Restaurants can use Grubhub credit to pay off their Grubhub bill or give back to your diners by funding promotions. Talk with your Account Advisor to learn more about how you can use statement credit to optimize your Grubhub orders.
Promote your Slam Dunk Deals
Run Slam Dunk Deals while participating in the challenge to boost your business’ visibility. This campaign will help drive more orders to your restaurant by featuring your promotion in our in-app banners. Launching Slam Dunk Deals is a sure way to move up in your customers’ rankings.
You can launch Slam Dunk Deals with just a few steps in your Grubhub for Restaurants account. Just select “Slam Dunk Deals” as your goal type to launch a promotion from March 19 to April 8. You can select a preset promotion or customize the deal to fit your goals. Review and launch the program and watch your orders rise.
